How the transfer works
There are no accounts on ArcadeWhale, so your progress — levels cleared, best scores, daily-puzzle streaks, unlocked content and the games in your "Continue playing" list — lives in the browser you play in. This page moves all of it to another browser in one go. On the device that has your progress, press "Get a code": the saved data is packed and stored for fifteen minutes under a six-digit code. On the other device, open this page, type the code and press "Receive".
The code works exactly once and is deleted the moment it is used or when the fifteen minutes run out, so a code you read out loud or leave on a screenshot cannot be reused later. The transfer carries the whole set of saved games at once; a game that already has a save on the receiving device is replaced by the incoming one, and games saved only on the receiving device are left as they are.
A QR code is shown next to the number for convenience: point the other device's camera at it and the link opens this page with the code already filled in — you still press "Receive" yourself, nothing is overwritten silently. Both devices need to be able to reach the site; nothing is stored beyond the fifteen-minute window, and the data is never read on our side.
