Frequently asked questions
How do I control it?
Arrow keys or A and D to run, and Up, W or Space to jump; Shift or X to dash. On a phone or tablet four pads sit under the room: left, right, a DASH button and a wider JUMP button. Hold jump longer to go higher, and tap jump again in mid-air to double-jump.
How does the dash work?
Dash is a short, fast burst in the way you are facing, or the way you are holding. It carries you across a gap or through a moment of danger, then rests briefly before it can fire again. You get one dash per trip through the air; touching the ground or a wall gives it straight back.
How do I deal with the robots?
Land on a rusty bot from above and it is squashed, bouncing you back up. Bumping into its side instead costs one of your three hearts and knocks you back, so approach from the top or simply jump over it. Hearts refill when you respawn at the start of a room.
What are the crystals and gears for?
Blue light-crystals are what you gather as you explore, and they buy cosmetic caps in the workshop — never anything that changes how far you jump. The golden gears are rarer and count toward the deeper districts still to open. Both are saved the moment you touch them.
Does it save, and can I skip a room I am stuck on?
It saves automatically in your browser, so you return to the room you reached with your crystals and gears intact. There is no skip: every room has been verified as completable before shipping, so being stuck always means there is a route you have not found yet rather than a broken level.
