No. The game runs directly in your web browser on a custom WebGL engine. Nothing to download and no plugin to install; it works in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.

Move your tank with WASD or the arrow keys (on a phone, use the on-screen D-pad) and fire with the Space bar (or the FIRE button). Destroy all the enemy tanks in a stage while stopping them from reaching and destroying your core at the bottom of the arena.

Destroying a pink carrier tank drops a power-up. Shield gives brief invincibility, grenade clears every enemy on the field, fortify plates your base with steel, freeze stops enemies for a few seconds, an extra life adds a spare, and a star upgrades your tank tier for faster and stronger shots.

Iron Siege is run-based, so each play starts at stage 1, but the coins you earn and your best stage are saved on your device. You spend coins in the Garage on permanent upgrades — higher starting tank tier, extra lives, an armoured base and better coin income — that persist across every future run.
