No. The game runs directly in your web browser and works in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and on phones. Nothing to download and no plugin to install.

There is no start screen: the range is live as soon as it loads, and your first shot starts the clock. Move the mouse to aim and click to fire; on a phone, drag to aim and tap FIRE to shoot. Press R (or the on-screen R button) to reload. You have sixty seconds and twelve rounds per magazine.

Targets marked as no-shoot must be left alone. Hitting one costs 250 points and resets your streak multiplier to zero, which usually costs far more than the 250 itself. They are the reason accuracy beats speed.

Each hit is worth more when it lands nearer the centre of the plate and when the plate is further away, and everything is multiplied by your current streak. Consecutive hits raise the streak; a miss or a no-shoot hit clears it.

Rank is graded on score and accuracy together, so a big score fired wildly will not promote you. The ranks are Recruit, Qualified, Marksman, Sharpshooter and Expert. Your best score, best accuracy and rank are saved on your device.
