About Chop Flip
Chop Flip is a free one-tap knife game you play right in your browser with no download. You look into a bright 3D kitchen sink from just above: thick butcher blocks, cutting boards and crates stand in the water in front of a tiled wall, shiny fruit sits on them and floats in the air, and a big steel kitchen knife waits on the left with its tip stuck in the wood. Far ahead, at the end of every level, a row of coloured multiplier blocks is waiting.
Tap anywhere, click or press Space and the knife flips forward. It spins one full turn and comes down tip first. If the tip lands in wood, the blade sticks and the knife stands there, ready for the next flip. If it comes down tilted too far, the knife lies flat or bounces off the handle, and you lose a little time. Any fruit in the path of the spinning blade is sliced in two, the juicy halves fly apart and splash into the water. Small fruit like cherries is worth one coin, apples two and a whole melon three.
The second move is the hop. Tap again while the knife is in the air and it jumps once more, a bit weaker each time, up to four times before it has to land. Hops stretch a jump over a long gap, lift you onto a higher block or let you time your landing. A knife that has just bounced off something cannot hop until it lands again, so a bad bounce can drop you into the water, and the water ends the level.
New tricks join the kitchen as you go. Thin posts stand far apart over long gaps. Grey steel plates throw the knife back, so you fly over them. Cutting boards slide back and forth on the water and you hop on as they come your way. Old crates give way a moment after you stick in them, and if you ride one down the knife tumbles and cannot hop. Spinning whisks guard some gaps and knock you back when an arm hits the blade, high shelves need a hop near the top of your jump, and bombs hang from ropes: touch one and the blast throws the knife down. The Night Market mixes all of it.
Every level ends with the multiplier blocks. Stick the tip in one and all the fruit coins of the level are multiplied by its number. Early rows go up to x10, later ones to x20 and x30, and in the Night Market to x50. Land flat on a block and it only counts as x1. A fall into the water still pays half of the fruit coins you sliced. Your first three minutes are practice: a fall takes you back to the last block you stuck in, and the tip sticks even when the knife is a little more tilted.
Coins go to the Knife Block. Sharp edge makes every fruit worth more coins, up to twice as much, and Steady grip lets the tip stick at a steeper angle. Each has five levels. Eight knives, from the Chef knife to the Neon cleaver, change your look but not the way the knife flies. After a win you can double your coins once with a short video, and after a fall a video lets you keep going once from the last block you stuck in. The campaign runs for 40 levels across the Kitchen, the Diner, the Sushi Bar, the Bakery and the Night Market, then goes on with endless new levels. Your progress is saved in your browser, a daily reward adds coins when you come back, and the levels you clear count on the weekly board.
Chop Flip tips & strategy
Watch the tip, not the handle
A flip always comes down tip first if you let it finish its turn. Most bad landings come from a hop tapped too late, so tap your hops early in the jump and give the blade time to turn down again.
Hop off crates at once
An old crate gives way a moment after you stick in it. Tap as soon as you land, because a knife that rides a crate down tumbles and cannot hop back out.
Let the whisk swing by
Wait on the wood until the whisk arm has passed the gap, then flip. Hitting an arm throws you back and often into the water.
Do not hop under a bomb
A hop lifts you straight into a hanging bomb. Flip from far enough back that you pass under it on the way down, and save your hops for after it.
Buy Sharp edge first
Every coin you earn later grows with Sharp edge, and the big blocks at the end multiply it again. Steady grip helps most once steel and whisks start to show up.

Frequently asked questions
How do I play Chop Flip?
Tap, click or press Space to flip the knife forward. It spins once and comes down tip first; stick the tip in wood to stand there. Tap again in the air to hop farther. Slice fruit for coins and land on the multiplier blocks at the end.
Why did my knife bounce instead of sticking?
It came down too tilted, or it hit steel, a whisk or a bomb. Wood only holds the tip when the blade points down. Hops in the air change your timing, so tap again to land straighter.
What do the multiplier blocks do?
They multiply all the fruit coins you sliced in the level. Stick the tip in a block and you get its number, up to x50 in the Night Market. Landing flat counts as x1.
How many times can I hop in the air?
Up to four times per jump, and each hop is a little weaker than the last. After a bounce you cannot hop until the knife lands.
What happens when I fall into the water?
In your first three minutes you go back to the last block you stuck in. After that the level ends and you keep half of your fruit coins. You can watch a video once per level to keep going.
What do Sharp edge and Steady grip do?
Sharp edge makes every sliced fruit worth more coins, up to double. Steady grip lets the tip stick even when the knife is more tilted. Buy them in the Knife Block. Knives only change the look.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your level, coins, upgrades and knives are saved in your browser on this device.
