About Bus Load
Bus Load is a free color-matching bus puzzle you play with single taps, right in your browser with no download. You look down on a packed 3D parking lot of light grey tiles. Shiny toy cars, vans and buses stand nose to tail, each in one bright color with a white arrow on its roof. Beside the lot is a row of bays marked P, and beyond them a big crowd of riders winds along a heart-shaped path, every rider dressed in the color of the vehicle they want to ride.
Tap a vehicle and it drives the way its arrow points. If its road to the edge of the lot is clear, it pulls out, follows the street around the lot and parks in a free bay. If something stands in the way, it bumps into it and rolls back to its spot; that costs you nothing but a moment. Riders only board from the front of the line: the first rider walks to a parked vehicle of their own color and hops on, then the next one, and so on. A full vehicle drives off and frees its bay. Cars carry 4 riders, vans 6 and buses 10.
The catch is the bays. Each lot has between two and six, and a vehicle that waits for riders who are still far back in the line keeps its bay the whole time. When every bay is taken and the rider at the front has no vehicle of their color parked, the lot jams and you try it again. So the real question on every tap is not just which vehicle can get out, but which one the line needs next, and which blocker you can afford to park while you dig out the car behind it.
New pieces arrive as you go. Vans hold a bay for longer, mystery cars are grey with a question mark until their road is clear, buses are long blockers with ten seats, colored boom gates close a lane until a vehicle of their color leaves full, garages roll out their next car once the door is clear, two-tone coaches wait for riders of two colors, and two-way cars can drive out of whichever end is free. Lots grow as you go, from a few cars to almost thirty vehicles packed into a big lot. From lot 15, every fifth lot is a Hard lot with no spare bay, and some of them give you only two bays. Every lot in the campaign is checked by a solver, so it can always be cleared with the bays you are given.
Clear a lot with as few bays in use as possible to earn three stars. Every lot pays coins, and you can double them once with a short video. From lot 4 two boosters sit at the bottom of the screen: Magnet lifts any vehicle straight to a free bay, past cars and gates, and Extra bay adds one more bay for the current lot. You start with one of each, buy more with coins, or watch a video when you are short. If a lot jams, a video gives you one extra bay or a free magnet to carry on. Coins also buy paint jobs in the Garage. The campaign has 80 lots, then Rush hour serves endless new ones. Your progress is saved in your browser, a daily reward adds coins when you come back, and the lots you clear count on the weekly board.
Bus Load tips & strategy
Read the line first
Look at the next ten riders before you tap. The vehicle you want is the one whose color comes up soonest, not the one that is easiest to get out.
Park blockers with care
Sometimes you have to send a vehicle to a bay just to free the one behind it. Pick a blocker whose color is coming up soon, so its bay frees up again quickly.
Save big vehicles for big groups
A bus takes ten riders and holds its bay until it is full. Call it when a long run of its color is near the front of the line.
Open gates early
A boom gate lifts once a vehicle of its color leaves full. Fill one vehicle of that color early and the whole lane opens up.
Keep the Magnet for emergencies
The Magnet ignores roads and gates, so it is the best way out when the vehicle the line needs is buried deep in the lot.

Frequently asked questions
How do I play Bus Load?
Tap a car, van or bus whose arrow has a clear road to the edge of the lot. It drives to a free bay, and riders at the front of the line board vehicles of their own color. Full vehicles leave. Send every rider on their way to clear the lot.
Why did my car bump and go back?
Its road was blocked. A vehicle only leaves in the direction of its arrow, so another vehicle, a bollard or a closed gate in that line stops it. A bump costs nothing; move the blocker first.
Why did the lot jam?
All bays were full and the rider at the front of the line had no parked vehicle of their color. Park vehicles whose riders are near the front of the line, and keep a bay free for the next color.
What do the grey cars with a question mark do?
They are mystery cars. Their color shows as soon as their road out is clear, so open their path before you plan around them.
How do I get three stars?
Use as few bays at the same time as the lot needs. One more bay than that gives two stars, more gives one.
What do Magnet and Extra bay do?
Magnet lifts any vehicle straight into a free bay, even a blocked one. Extra bay adds one more bay for the current lot. They unlock on lot 4; buy them with coins or watch a video.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your lot, stars, coins, boosters and paint jobs are saved in your browser on this device.
