About Ant Feast
Ant Feast is a free idle game you can play in your browser with no download. You look down on a sunny picnic blanket where a big sandwich sits next to a cookie, an apple slice, a strawberry and a few grapes. A small dirt mound by the edge is your nest, and seven glossy toy ants are waiting beside it. Your job is to eat everything on the scene, every crumb, and the bar at the top shows how much of it is already gone. When it reaches one hundred percent you move on to the next scene.
Your ants work by themselves, and you can watch every step. Each one walks from the nest to the food, climbs up the side, bites off a crumb and carries it home on its back. Coins arrive only when a crumb reaches a nest hole, so the walk back is the thing you are always shortening. Tap or click the food to take a bite yourself: one tap takes a whole mouthful out of soft bread, the crumbs fall to the floor, and the whole line of ants heads to the spot you tapped next. Drag or use the arrow keys to turn the camera, use the mouse wheel, a pinch or the plus and minus keys to zoom from the whole scene down to a single ant at work, and press the corner button to bring the camera back to your colony.
Coins buy a bigger colony and better ants. The Ants button adds one more ant. Jaws make every bite stronger, which matters on hard plastic and steel that take many bites. Legs make the whole colony walk faster, and Carry lets each ant bring more crumbs per trip. Once a fifth of the picnic is gone you can dig new nest holes: put one right beside the food and every trip gets much shorter. Some things are too big for one ant. A strawberry needs four ants to lift it, and the counter above it shows how many are on the way; tap it and a team gathers, lifts it together and walks it home whole. Now and then a golden jellybean drops onto the floor, and two ants can grab it for a bonus.
Every scene hides a prize inside the food. A soft glow shows where it is buried. Tap the food right above it and your ants dig a tunnel toward that spot, and its crumbs pay much more than the rest, with a bonus once the last piece is home. The gummy bear hides inside the sandwich, a chocolate coin inside the kitchen cake, a golden coin inside the piggy bank in the kids room, the car keys inside the real car in the garage and a pot of gold inside the garden gnome.
The scenes grow absurdly big. The kitchen has a two-tier cake with sticky frosting that slows the line and a cherry on top that needs six ants. The kids room has toy blocks, a rubber duck, a ring stacker and crayons made of hard plastic. The garage has a toy car, a bicycle and finally a real car, and their wheels and tyres come off whole for teams of up to twelve ants. The backyard has a grill, a garden gnome, a whole shed and a watermelon that needs twenty ants at once. Clearing a scene gives you crowns, which make every crumb worth more and every bite stronger for good. After the backyard a new yard grows every scene back and you keep your crowns. When you close the game the food waits exactly as you left it, so nothing is eaten while you are gone, but your scouts gather a few coins: a third of your income for fifteen minutes at most, and a short video can double them. An Ants ×2 button doubles the work for a couple of minutes if you want it, and a daily reward adds coins when you come back. Your scene, colony, nest holes and upgrades are saved in your browser.
Ant Feast tips & strategy
Dig the first nest hole early
The walk home is what slows your colony down. As soon as nest holes unlock, dig one right next to the biggest pile of food, and dig the next one beside whatever is left after that.
Follow the glow
Every scene hides a prize inside the food. Tap the food just above the glow a few times and the whole colony digs toward it, and its crumbs pay several times more than plain food.
Jaws before the kids room
From the kids room on, plastic, ceramic and steel take three to five bites per crumb. A few levels of Jaws make the toys, the car and the grill go much faster than more ants alone.
Send teams when the food is low
A team of ants lifting a strawberry or a tyre is not biting anything else. Lift the big pieces when the food around them is nearly gone, or when you have plenty of ants to spare.

Frequently asked questions
How do I play Ant Feast?
Your ants walk to the food, bite off crumbs and carry them home on their own, and each crumb that reaches a nest hole pays coins. Tap the food to take a bite yourself and send the line there, then spend coins on more ants, jaws, legs, carry and new nest holes until the scene is eaten.
Where should I dig a nest hole?
On the bare floor right beside the food that is still left. Every ant brings its crumbs to the nearest hole, so a hole next to the food cuts every trip short. You can dig up to three extra holes in each scene.
Why will the ants not lift the strawberry?
Whole pieces need a team. The strawberry needs four ants, the cherry six, a car tyre twelve and the watermelon twenty. Buy more ants until you have enough, then tap the piece and a team lifts it together.
How do I find the hidden prize?
Look for the soft glow in the food. Tap the food right above it and your ants dig a tunnel toward that spot. Its crumbs are worth much more, and the last piece pays a bonus.
Why does a toy take so long to eat?
Hard plastic, ceramic and steel take several bites per crumb. Buy better Jaws and every bite, yours and your ants, does more damage. Crowns from cleared scenes make every bite stronger as well.
Does my colony keep eating when I close the game?
No. The food waits exactly as you left it, so the scene only gets eaten while you play. Your scouts still gather a few coins while you are away, a third of your income for up to fifteen minutes, and a short video can double them.
