Stunt Rider
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. The game runs directly in your web browser and works in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and on phones. Nothing to download and no plugin to install.
How do you control the bike?
Right arrow or D is throttle and left arrow or A is brake. On a phone, the right half of the screen is throttle and the left half is brake. While you are in the air those same two controls rotate the bike forward and backward, which is how you line up your landing. Press R to restart a level instantly.
Why do I keep crashing on landing?
Because the bike is not lined up with the ground you are landing on. The angle is measured against the slope, not against flat, so on a downhill you want the bike nose-down to match it. Use the air controls to rotate before you touch down — and remember that a rotation you started has to be finished, so commit early enough to complete it.
What do flips actually do?
Landing a complete rotation makes the bike accelerate out of the landing — roughly thirteen percent faster per flip — and pays coins. Because the boost helps your time, flipping is usually the fast line on a long jump rather than a showy detour.
What happens when I crash?
You are put straight back on the bike. If you have already cleared a gap on that track you restart there; otherwise you restart at the beginning and the timer resets, so a crash never rules out a gold time on a fresh attempt. Checkpoints cost nothing.
Does my progress save?
Yes. Unlocked levels, your best time and medal on each track, your coins and your level skips are all stored on your device, so closing the tab does not reset you.
